Everything can be taken from a man or a woman but one thing: the last of human freedoms to choose one's attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one's own way.

I am a licensed professional counselor with particular experience in anxiety, depression, trauma, personality concerns, relationship and family issues and life transitions.
I work with adults, transition age youth, adolescents and children and families. In my practice, I draw from a variety of treatment approaches individualized to the uniqueness of every person. Among these are Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Person Centered Therapy.
I attained a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from Carlow University in 2007 and have been engaged in helping relationships since 2004, holding a number of positions in outpatient and community based settings. I provide an atmosphere of acceptance and safety designed to encourage self-exploration.
With a focus on the here and now, I emphasize the strengths, experience and courage of the individual as we move together on a journey of self-development and personal growth.
