In my practice Gestalt psychology and body-mind-energetic therapies are helpful. Gestalt therapy can be considered an open, dialogue-based sharing. This sharing is non-judgmental and holistic, and seeks to discover value by transcending individual limitations and receiving the whole of the human experience - the whole of your perceptions, your authentic life and truth. With increasing awareness, good things for each person can emerge. In addition to my M.Ed. in Psychology in Education from the University of Pittsburgh, I hold a certification in Gestalt therapy from the Gestalt Institute of Pittsburgh.
Prior to full-time counseling, I spent many years working with children, adolescents and their families as a school counselor and counseling adults in certificate programs. My experience over the years is that with willingness, and gentle openness, the possibility of renewed understanding exists for most situations.
