Fostering the connection with one’s “deeper spirit” is significant in the therapeutic process. My training includes Bioenergetics, Gestalt & Psychodynamic therapies, although my desire to learn more about the human condition began long before my life as a therapist. I've had many roles in education, including conflict resolution and leadership advice, where peacemaking is often overlooked. I believe in honoring each other's differences, forgiveness and trust.
I believe exploring the past helps us understand why we think, feel and behave in the ways we do today; this exploration can, in turn, help us reach the goals of our work and dreams. In my practice I often combine a psychodynamic approach with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Being human, our task is to navigate the darkness and light of our experiences, to find both the wisdom and value with which we might transcend isolation and reach simple human connection, fellowship, acceptance, and love. Therapy, for me, provides a supportive framework for this process.

Whatever life events have emerged — trauma, loss, or just feeling worn down — we can work through difficult feelings and help the “who” emerge, and create new ways of living in the solutions rather than the difficulties.
